Wonderful image. So desolate, cold, and lonely looking. Love the use of green and the paint strokes that suggest movement, like a freezing wind blowing across the icy landscape.

Anna, thank you SO much for your kind comments, especially after finding the time to view your paintings. I'm trying, but have so much to learn. Will post a painting of a calf later today, but the background is very poor - can't find masking fluid here, so used goopy rubber cement, terrible result. But still, the painting isn't so bad, perhaps. I'll look at yours more for inspiration and guidance. Again, thank you, such an honor to have you comment.
